VITA by Shop and Roll: real sustainability applied to the point of sale
VITA by S&R isn’t just a new range of trolleys and baskets for carrying shopping. It’s a solution developed specifically to integrate real sustainability into the point of sale without compromising on the performance, durability or operational standards demanded by today’s retail.

VITA by S&R: real sustainability applied to point-of-sale equipment
The development of this range is the result of four years of research, during which more than 80 types of materials were analysed and tested to find a solution capable of combining sustainability, strength and reliability. The result is a new compound that retains 100% of the quality standards, structural stability and service life required in heavy-use environments such as supermarkets, hypermarkets and specialised stores.
One of the key elements of VITA by S&R is the inclusion of at least 40% post-consumer recycled plastic, certified under the RecyClass (EN 15343) standard. This certification guarantees full traceability of the recycled material, ensuring that each batch keeps a consistent technical performance and uniform quality throughout the production process.
The commitment to sustainability is also reflected in the optimisation of the entire production chain. Thanks to the use of locally sourced recycled materials and the improvement of manufacturing processes, VITA by S&R achieves a 17% reduction in carbon footprint, also helping to reduce the air pollution associated with the industrial production of plastics.
This approach aligns with the sustainability strategy that Shop & Roll has been developing for years to reduce its environmental impact and move towards circular economy models, optimising resources, reducing emissions and reusing materials wherever possible.
However, with VITA by S&R sustainability does not mean giving up on performance. The range keeps the same technical features, mechanical strength and service life as the conventional models, ensuring the reliability needed for intensive use at the point of sale.
In addition, the solution offers a wide colour range and multiple customisation options, allowing each retailer to adapt trolleys and baskets to their visual identity, strengthen their brand positioning and improve aesthetic consistency within the retail space.
In a context where consumers increasingly demand brands committed to the environment, initiatives like VITA by S&R allow retailers to integrate sustainability into everyday store elements, turning functional equipment into a brand communication tool.
